Furthermore, Dr. Martin collaborated with Father Pfleger, the pastor of St. Sabina and an activist in Chicago, during their involvement with the American Heart Association.
The Srewolf & Nitram Foundation received a grant from the American Heart Association, which greatly assisted in funding its initiatives. At the Summit of Hope, Dr. Martin, Deputy Governor Leslie Munger, and Alderperson Milly Santiago convened to discuss the foundation's initiatives and potential partnerships. The Summit of Hope serves as a community expo providing valuable services to ex-offenders.
